SMALL STEPS THAT CREATE BIG REWARDS

I often ask myself why some people are successful and why others are not.
Why some people have a negative experience and it inspires them to go do big things  and some have negative experience and they remain permanently in the pit

Peter J Daniels uneducated, former bricklayer in Australia became a multimillionaire and travels all over the world to inspire people. I studied a lot of people who have gone through a tough time and turned that around for their own good.  Here are the commonalities.

These people

  1. Found out the law of cause and effect. Just like the law of sowing and reaping. Found out that nature is neutral. Follow recipe and you get the same result.
  2. Found out that success is something you attract by becoming an attractive person
  3. Becoming successful is not the important thing . The important thing is the person you become.

Here are some of the Big Steps they shared

  1. Goal setting. Get a piece of paper and make a dream list. This activates the law of attraction. Reticular activating system
  2. Commit to excellence. You can open any door when you are good at what you do.
  3. Do something you love to do. Find something you love, and make a living from it. When you find something you lose, tie it to a pain you plan to solve
  4. Develop your talent. There is something unique about you. Your DNA.
  5.  Develop a clear sense of direction. Be goal oriented. You cannot hit a target you cannot see. Your current life is as a result of what you have put in. Do something that will move you towards your goal.
  6.  Refuse to consider the possibility of failure.
  7.  Learn new skills
  8. FINALLY BELIEVE IN GOD

Life through the Lens of Purpose

When I was young, I always thought in my mind that I was being punished with trials and tribulations because of my sins. As I got older and wiser, I realized that God sometimes allows troubles and problems to come into a person’s life in order to build  character. Reading my bible, I realized that the Joseph who was thrown into the pit by his brothers was not the same Joseph who became a ruler in Egypt. I finally GOT IT. I want to encourage you that  everything you are going through now will give you greater testimony. The bible is a great resource that allows one to tap into the power of God and The Holy Spirit within you.

I spent some part of my life wandering why am here, and why certain things happened to me and why me? It was a foggy place to be, moving from one thing to the other. I fell into people please trap. Wanting to be liked by others, looking for happiness through others when in fact, the happiness dwells within me.

Then, one day, it all made sense. I realized, I had been held hostage when I did not know purpose. I was running around in search of answers when the answers where steering right at me. I stopped the guess game and went right  to my Maker for answers.

I can boldly tell you that I am here to encourage, inspire and motivate millions to discover, serve and fulfill their God given purpose. To raise God’s sleeping giants, to serve their gifts to the world. Many have been asking for answers to certain problems. Well you may just be steering at the carrier of that answer right in the mirror. Do you know why you are here? Are you serving that why to the world? Do you have dreams that need to be released. Lets connect and make it happen.

My assignment is to help you succeed in yours.  Walk in your purpose, walk in all of your dreams, walk in your future, walk in your destiny.

You will definitely be motivated to step into your destiny!

Are you serving in your giftedness?

Successful leadership is knowing your purpose in life, growing to reach your maximum potential, and sowing seeds that benefit others. To influence our society, we must be leaders. Society has trained us not to trust ourselves so some have grown giving up the fight and have accepted the broken spirit. My mindset changed in 2011 when I got hit with the biggest challenge of my life. I basically met myself after which I became very afraid.  The biblical verse Romans 12 v2 was my key verse. It says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will”. This led to cancellation of anything that will devalue my spirit. God introducing me to myself helped me know who I am. My question to you is who are you?

Let me explain what I mean. Leadership starts from the inside out. Lead yourself first. Many want to lead others but don’t know who they are. Knowing who you are helps you focus on your strength and contribute positively to your life, family, community and organization. Leadership is first personal before it is public
Leadership is a seed with a tree trapped inside. It is a gifting given to you by God for the particular assignment he created you to solve. What is your giftedness and how are you using it?  The seed of leadership is a tree that will bear fruits for this generation and beyond. For this to happen, the seed must go through a process to bring out the fruit. The seed must first be planted, be exposed to moisture, nutrients from soil, time, hidden before it is exposed, push through soil to make it to surface, it also needs rays from the sun. The tree already exists in the seed. All the ingredients does is to activate what was already there. You are carrying seeds that could produce forest. It is time for it to be activated. Time to Lead yourself exceptionally well and then lead others. To activate your leadership ask yourself these questions
Who am I and What is my assignment   You need to be activated. You were designed by God to deliver a gift to your generation. Inside you is something we need
Your gift is the fruit you are to deliver. True Leadership is born when your gift is found and you serve it to the world.

If you are serious about activating the seed inside of you, join the group of like minded who are working on making a forest out of their seeds.

Choose Discipline Over Regret

I have learned so much from the two, but I choose discipline over regret. I am thinking about the future I want, I am thinking about where I want to be in 5 years. To get to where I want to be, I have to do the work now. From here to there means work in between. The gap from here to there is the gap of discipline. Discipline to do want I do not like doing. Discipline to work when I want to play, discipline to read when I want to do something else. Discipline with hard work after prayers will give the desired result I want in 5 years.

Reading through Napoleon Hills’ Outwitting the devil where he described the habit of a drifter, I realize, I cannot drift as drifting is the opposite of discipline.
I have made the decision to discipline myself daily to achieve that long term result. Are you disciplined or are you a drifter?

A drifter has the following attributes:

He lacks a major purpose in life.
He will never accomplish anything requiring thought or effort.
He will have little or no imagination.
He will lack enthusiasm and initiative to begin anything he is not forced to undertake, and he will plainly express his weakness by taking the line of least resistance whenever he can do so.
He will be ill-tempered and lacking in control over his emotions.
His personality will be without magnetism and it will not attract other people.
He will have opinions on everything but accurate knowledge of nothing.
He may be jack of all trades but good at none.
He will make the same mistake over and over again, never profiting by failure.
He will be narrow-minded and intolerant on all subjects, ready to crucify those who may disagree with him.
He will expect everything of others but be willing to give little or nothing in return.
He may begin many things but he will complete nothing.
He will never reach decisions on anything if he can avoid it, and if he is forced to decide, he will reverse himself at the first opportunity.
He will eat too much and exercise too little.
He will criticize others who are succeeding in their chosen calling.
